Young Magician of the Year: Sebastian Walton

The 51st biennial competition to find The Young Magician of the Year took place at The Magic Circle Headquarters on Sunday with 6 finalists, aged from 14 to 18, battling it out for the highly coveted title that is widely considered a giant stepping stone in the career of any budding young magician.

Hosted by comedian Noel Britten, the finalists delivered some great entertainment and strong magic. Among a very competitive field the very worthy winner was Sebastian Walton from Leeds. He impressed the whole audience and the judges with his charm and magical skills.

Sebastian is now well established as one to watch among the current crop of British young magicians. With this prestigious award he follows in the footsteps of past winners including Russ Stevens, Richard Cadell, Andrew O’Connor and Dominic Wood.
