International Magic Award
The David Berglas International Magic Award from The Foundation for Promoting the Art of Magic has been awarded to Uri Geller. The award is presented annually to recipients who have given outstanding services to magic internationally. Following the presentation and in an open forum, Uri Geller candidly answered impromptu questions from the many magicians who had assembled for the 37th International Magic Convention held at the Shaw Theatre in London.

Not magic but…
The world premiere of ARK, the latest film from talented director Mal Woolford took place at the Space4 Shorts Film Festival at The Key Theatre this year and the critically acclaimed silent four minute piece was also accepted into the 2008 Palm Springs ShortFest where it received rave reviews.

Guy Hollingworth, award winning close up magician appeared on BBC Radio 4’s Law in action recently to discuss whether magic tricks can be patented. As well as being one of the top sleight of hand magicians, Guy is also a practicing barrister.
