Along with the prestigious title, Michael was awarded membership of The Magic Circle, the most exclusive club in the world, when he reaches the age of 18.<\/p>\n<p>The competition, held every two years, deliverered some young magical talent to look out for in the future. Megan Knowles-Bacon was placed second with a silent act that combined magic and dance and Carl Scutt scooped third with a very funny stand-up magic act that had the audience in the palm of his hand and proved the old adage that it ain&#8217;t what you do&#8230; it&#8217;s the way that you do it!<\/p>\n<p>The competition is just one of the youth initiatives run by The Magic Circle to encourage young people interested in the art of magic. Unsurprisingly, all the award winners this year have studied at The Young Magicians Club.
