Judging this year was Jimmy Perry OBE, scriptwriter and creator of Dad\u2019s Army, author and TV producer John Fisher, and former Stage Magician of the Year, Duncan Trillo.<\/p>\n<p>The title went to John Archer (pictured), who performed his magic comedy act, featuring some hilarious mind reading. In second place, was Michael Vadini, whose act included magically producing smoke, using a spoon as pipe! Third place went to \u2018The Man of Steal\u2019 James Freedman who wowed the audience with his famous comedy pickpocket act.<\/p>\n<p>Congratulations to all of this year\u2019s winners, and to all of the finalists for providing an evening of top class magical entertainment.
